A news release from Katie K. Wright, regional press secretary of the Republican National Committee:
Today, Oklahoma’s lone Democrat Congressman joined a growing number of Democrats who are distancing themselves from Barack Obama…
“Boren, the lone Democrat in Oklahoma’s congressional delegate, said that while Obama has talked about working with Republicans, ‘unfortunately, his record does not reflect working in a bipartisan fashion.’” (Associated Press, 06/10/08)
“This is not a good sign for Obama… Boren’s statement will surely prompt reporters to ask most every Blue Dog Democrat who had been holding out or supporting Clinton whether they'll now get behind Obama. And Boren certainly won't be the last to put on his dancing shoes.” (Politico, 06/10/08)
“Democratic officials do not expect Boren to be the last to refrain from making a show of not backing his party's presumptive presidential nominee… Other House Democrats from swing districts – Democrats who eked out victories in traditionally GOP districts, whom House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., calls her ‘majority makers’ – may refrain from even attending their party's convention in Denver in August.” (ABC News, 06/10/08)
Unfortunately for Obama, other members of his own Party in key states are reticent to get behind his campaign as well…
FL… “Mahoney says he’ll remain an uncommitted superdelegate through the party convention this summer. And Mahoney plans to keep a low profile in the presidential race this fall as he seeks reelection to one of the nation’s most competitive congressional seats… Asked how he felt about running for reelection in his district with Obama atop the ticket, Mahoney said, ‘I’m a Democrat, but am I going to have a pep rally or something like that? No, I’m not going to do that.’” (Palm Beach Post, 06/09/08)
OH… “Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland says, if asked, he would "absolutely not" join the presidential ticket of Sen. Barack Obama… ‘If drafted, I will not run. Nominated, I will not accept. And if elected, I will not serve. So, I don't know how more crystal clear I can be.’” (Chicago Tribune, 06/10/08)
TN… “In Sunday’s Philadelphia Inquirer, Gov. Phil Bredesen mentioned an unnamed Tennessee superdelegate from a swing district who said both Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were ‘poison’ politically to him. A scan of Tennessee superdelegates likely leads to only one elected one who is in a swing district - Congressman Lincoln Davis (D-Pall Mall). Earlier this year, Davis was a John Edwards supporter. After Edwards dropped out, Davis told reporters the other candidates, on both sides of the aisle, were ‘leftovers.’” (Nashville City Paper, 04/15/08)
GA… “Rep. Jim Marshall won't say whether he thinks Barack Obama would make a better president than John McCain.” (Washington Examiner, 06/06/08)

I have been asking a simple question from Hussein Obama supporters and have yet to receive any kind of answer:
Show me one qualification or any actual experience that he has that would qualify him to be president of this nation.
He does not have an (R) behind his name, that alone is qualifying after 8 years of being RAPED by the thieves who proudly wear the (R) tags
After 12 years of the (R)'s having control of both houses of congress and nearly 8 years controlling the presidency, how can anyone hold their head up proudly and say "I am a Republican"?
This is not meant to say that I think Obama is the best person for the job, but when it comes down to him and McCain, I'll flip a coin.
I've read the comments regarding wearing the [R] tag etc yada yada, but asside from your rhetoric lets look at the facts:
The congress and senate have been controlled by the Democrats [D] for the last how many years now and have a 75% disapproval rating because they have accomplished what? Nothing. They have a worse approval rating than Bush!!!! They spent their entire time in office chasing little Georgie Bush around the playground. You want more of Democrat leadership why?
I can proudly say I am NOT a liberal.
Obama had only logged somewhere between 130-140 hours in the senate AS A FRESHMAN before he launched a presedential exploration committee to see if he wanted to run for the presidency,so tell me what experience does he have and what experience could he have possibly gained since he declared he was running since he hasn't been able to spend time in the Senate voting on measures?
Obama has been created by the media, he has no substance, he knows no policies and he constantly changes his opinions and views to suit the crowd. Did you not noticed he took down his rhetoric from his website about the surge not working in Iraq and now says it worked, but only because the Iraqi leaders were working together? This guy couldn't tell you the truth if the truth told him personally what the facts were.
Obama wouldnm't be where he is if it wasn't or his race and his empty rhetoric, how many black people do you think are voting for Obama simply beacuse of his race? Poll them and see if they know his policies....they won't be able to answer you. I gaurntee at least 90% of the black vote has no clue what he stands for.
Obama failed in debates, he can't talk without cuecards and he'll be the luckiest man a live if he manages to make through a debate with McCain. I don't like McCain either but at least the guy has the experience to back up his talk and his policies whether I agree or disagree with some or all of them or not.
I for one refuse to waste a vote on Obama. If you want to be blind sheep and vote for a useless unexperienced, untried, faux-politician so we can have more tax hikes and nothing being done, go right ahead, but you'll have no one to blame but yourself for the sorry sad shape the country is in.
What I find more appauling than anything, is the obvious media involvement in th eelction to the point that all the headlines go to Obama, no matter what he does wrong or how bad he lies or flip flops, the media acts as if it doesn't happen and instead leaves all the negative press to McCain as if he never does anything positive, it's a disgusting and gross misus of the freedom of press. Partisan press at it's worst.
